The John Miller Program with Susan Maletta, April 3rd

It's almost Easter and we have an eggcelent show planned! But you will REALLY need to go to church tomorrow morning after listening to our show because we are eggstremely eggciting, eggshilarating, and uh-oh...we have eggs-rated material!

Let's work out. And no, I don't mean working out at the gym so we can lose our back fat, spare tires, and cankles just in time for summer. I mean let's work out our ISSUES. Issue number one: We have a problem with anyone who does not intend to listen to our next show. Why? Because (a) we have a fierce line-up of some of the funniest people on the planet, (b) we CARE that you have a really fun time filled with smiles and laughter, and (c) we have abandonment issues, OK? So let's work this out. We're here to lift your (and our own) depression, what with all this cold weather, rain, and lack of sexual activity. But you know what we've learned? April showers bring May flowers. And more importantly, golden showers bring super powers! (Sorry. It rhymed.) And with that, urine for a great show!

Kato Kaelin is the most famous houseguest of all time. An aspiring actor and professional freeloader, Kaelin lived in the guesthouse at OJ Simpson’s Rockingham mansion and offered a sense of humor to the OJ trial. Kaelin parlayed his fame into appearances on TV shows like The Norm Show (2001), Celebrity Boot Camp (2002), and Eye For an Eye (2005 - 07), and in movies including BASEketball (1998) and Dorm Daze 2 (2006). Kaelin also appeared bare-chested in an edition of the "New Yorker" and on the cover of "Playgirl." He enjoys unparalleled success as an actor, often playing himself.

Also on the program, we'll be chatting with John O'Connell. O'Connell is a nationally-touring stand-up comedian from Austin, Texas and an original member of Ron White's Texas Hill Country Comedy Writers. He's written several films including the winner of 2008's ABFF Best Film award "The Abduction of Jesse Bookman" and the indie thriller "Pineapple" in which he also co-starred. Born in the midwest and now working out of Austin, Texas, O’Connell has performed stand-up comedy in every imaginable venue and shared the stage with a wide range of performers, from Dave Attell to Dolly Parton. He’s a veteran touring comic and has worked The Improv in Hollywood, the Comedy Cafe in London, and hundreds of clubs in between. In 2006 John organized "Comics Coming Together for Hurricane Relief" bringing Ron White, Tommy Chong, and Harry Anderson to Austin, raising nearly $100,000 for the Red Cross. As Head Writer of Ron’s "Texas Hill Country Comedy Writers", he continues to work on projects for the Blue Collar comic. O’Connell is also an avid runner, and has run several marathons including the 2004 Boston Marathon. But don’t let that fool you, he loves to party and is a firm believer in living life to the fullest.

Next up, get ready for non-stop laughs. Our good friend Cory Robinson is on the show!

Cory "Showtime" Robinson has been doing stand-up in the Bay Area since he was 11 years old. Dared by a classmate to perform stand-up comedy at his local talent show, he went on to win that competition three times in four years and never looked back. He continued to pursue this talent with the help of a family friend and owner of Planet Gemini, Anthony Lane, who gave him the chance to perform in his club throughout his teenage years. It was at Planet Gemini where Cory was able to cultivate his talent, harden his edges, and learn the controversial arts of the stage. It is also here where he was able to meet and share the stage with such performers as George Lopez, Jimmy Fallon, Gabriel Iglesis, Steve McGrew, Ralph Harris, Christopher "Kid" Reid, the late Shirley Hemphill, and many others.

Cory is now living in San Jose, California. Attending SJSU for business and marketing, he is also busy getting stage time at comedy clubs all over the bay area. His comedy deals with issues of race, weight, sex, money, and various other aspects of life where one can find humor. His star is certainly rising since moving to the Bay Area where he has performed with comedy greats such as Ty Barnett, Mark Curry, and Mike Epps. The sky is the limit for this super-talented young star.

Now get ready for the X-Rated portion of the show. Why do I say that? Because deliciously funny Ronn Vigh is coming back to see us and when Ronn Vigh comes to see us, we somehow end up talking about sex in great detail until the end of the night. GOOD TIMES!!!

Ronn Vigh, so-sexy-it’s-difficult-to-not-jump-his-bones-while-he’s-on-stage, brings his unique brand of comedy to clubs, colleges, and airport lavatories all over the world. His brash attitude and acerbic wit have earned him a comparison to a young Joan Rivers by SF Weekly. Well, if she were male, gay, and didn’t shoot Botox by the pound. He was featured on NBC’s Last Comic Standing II and in 2005 founded and still co-produces the successful “Harvey’s Funny Tuesday’s” weekly comedy show at Harvey’s in the Castro District of San Francisco. No stranger to the comedy and alternative scene, he recently hosted Palm Springs Pride, headlined the Lake Tahoe Gay & Lesbian WinterFest, 10th Annual Michigan ComedyFest, and the list goes on and on and on--much like when Ronn speaks.

His one man show, 98 Pounds of Fury, enjoyed a successful run, appeared in the Off-Broadway smash hit 10 Naked Men, recently hosted coverage for the SF GLBT Pride Parade and gained much attention for a controversial off-the-cuff comment about bisexuals. He’s played Joan Rivers at Comedy Noir’s Jesus Roast, a gay Elvis Presley in a Vegas.com commercial, and a science geek in a Magrack ad displayed in NYC subways. Needless to say, he’s versatile (in many ways). He’s been heard on the radio waves and a frequent contributor to shows such as "Fernando & Greg" on Energy 92.7FM, Shake Radio on 960 AM, The Quake and Live 105’s KGAY Weekend in San Francisco. He currently reports, and was featured in, the New York Times for his "Weekly Show" on Vidsf.com. His biggest accomplishment to date: working as a flight attendant and he never smothers any of his passengers with a pillow.

And finally, we are pleased to have the very lovely and silly Kelly Anneken back in the studio with us!

Kelly Anneken was raised by a pack of feral television sets on the banks of Cincinnati's Mill Creek in the mid-80s, and was later left to fend for herself throughout 12 years of Catholic school with only network television to sustain her. After a brief flirtation with piety (which ended with her introduction to basic cable), she found herself adrift in adulthood, with absolutely no marketable skills to coast on until shuffling off this mortal coil. At this critical juncture, Kelly met and married a wealthy, surprisingly attractive computer nerd named Tom.

Using her intoxicating combination of airtight logic and sexuality, Kelly convinced Tom to leave behind his stable life in Ohio so that she could move to San Francisco and chase her dreams. Her dreams being, primarily, access to medical marijuana, re-electing Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger, and referring to herself in the third person. Eventually Tom humbly suggested that Kelly find new, more profitable dreams. So, after failing at every other possible form of employment, this industrious Jill-of-no-trades has opted to either make her own fortune by humorously chronicling the decline of Western culture or die trying. Confidentially, our money is on the latter.

Now go to the fridge and grab a can of beer (or soda, if you're all AA-ish), then raise it in the air like you just don't care. We toast our drinks to you, dear friends. Thank you for listening to The John Miller Program every week so faithfully on FCCFREERADIO. Your loyalty to our show makes us want to fully bone you. Hard. Bareback style. What??? You say you'd rather wear a condom?!? HOW DARE YOU!!!

OK so go and get your condoms and then tune in!
