The John Miller Program with Candy Churilla March 2

This week John and Candy return after a 3 week hiatus and will be broadcasting from their new studio with a live studio audience.

This week our first guest is internationally known media psychic Suzanna, a radio and television personality and newspaper columnist who utilizes her psychic abilities to pick up an individual's energy from all forms of correspondence to successfully project what the future holds for them.

I wonder what she'll predict for our next two guests.

In the second hour we have the unfairly handsome Ben Feldman, a favorite of the JMP, who is hated by most comics because he's not only incredibly wealthy, but has been voted (by himself and Candy) as the Bay Area's funniest comic. Ben created the monthly comedy show Ben Feldman's Laugh Orgy, which happens the second Wednesday of every month at San Francisco's Grant & Green Saloon (the second Thursday of every month beginning in April)

.Justin Scales, aka, "The Scalesman" is a favorite of the SF underground comedy scene. He lived in a teepee and recently performed his one man show "The Goat Lady's Son." He has shared a stage with Pauly Shore, Doug Stanhope, and many more.

Also a special guest via phone and a friend of the JMP….. Robert Hawkins

Also make sure to vote for your favorite guest of 2007.

The top three will be able to host the program on 3/21/08 at 8:00 PM while Candy and John are out chasing the Easter Bunny!!

We will announce the winners live on Sunday 3/16/08 at 10:30 PM.

The John Miller Program with Candy Churilla February 24

This week Robert Hawkins returns! Robert has been voted one of the 25 top comics in the country in a poll of comedy club owners nominating candidates for the American Comedy Awards. He won the California State University Comedy Competition, was a finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and wowed audiences and industry figures in Montreal at the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival. He starred in his own Comedy Central half-hour special, appeared on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien,” and a slew of other TV shows, including Titus, in which he appeared in a recurring guest role as Titus’ brother-in-law, Michael.

Ronn Vigh's brash attitude and acerbic wit earned him comparisons to a young Joan Rivers SF Weekly--well, if Joan were male, gay, and didn't shoot Botox by the pound. He was featured on NBC's Last Comic Standing recently hosted Palm Springs Pride, headlined the Lake Tahoe Gay & Lesbian WinterFest, 10th Annual Michigan ComedyFest …the list goes on and on and on, much like when Ronn speaks.

At age 74, Lynn Ruth Miller is an established author, artist, and comedienne, whose works sprinkle humor with a touch of nostalgia, focusing on topics that touch us all. An acclaimed fine artist, cabaret performer, and host of two popular television programs, Miller began stand up comedy when she turned 70 and has been featured in venues throughout the Bay Area, nationally and internationally. Her one woman show has been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for three years running.

Justin McClure is more energy than a lightening bolt coming out of a nuclear power plant and more likeable than an ABBA cd at a gay pride parade. His affable presence and caustic rapid-fire wit make him an immediate fan favorite wherever he goes. Displaying unique energy and an infectious personality, Justin is as original as he is hilarious. His material ranges from edgy ramblings, observations of life, relatable topics and personal life experiences. Justin was a semi-finalist in NBC's Last Comic Standing, winner of the SJ Comedy Competition, was featured in the independent film "How to Make a Woman Laugh" (Sundance), and has performed with the top talent in the industry.

Susan Maletta is a sexy, sassy, and silly stand-up comedian from Los Gatos, California. She brings energetic and playful likability paired with silly, original topics to stages throughout the San Francisco bay areas and beyond. Susan has a captivating stage presence that keeps audiences wanting more. Topics range from struggles in her
personal relationships, to going through a divorce, to raising two young sons, to trying to date as a single mom, and to dealing with the day-to-day challenges of life.

The John Miller Program with Candy Churilla February 10

Our first guest, Rob Little, is an old friend of the JMP. Rob’s a sketch comedy player on The Best Damn Sports Show Period and Last Call with Carson Daly. He headlines clubs and colleges all over the country, has appeared in national television commercials and on such shows as Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew, Comedy Central's Distraction, Fox News and SiTV's Latino Laugh Festival. Rob's recent comedy CD, Born 20 Inches Long, is another testament to his talent and status as a comedic force. The Detroit Free press selected him as Michigan's "Best up and Coming Comedian," and he earned the title of "finalist" in both the Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competitions. Rob was also selected as a feature performer at the Chicago Comedy Festival along with the Boston Comedy and Movie Festival.

Then we'll chat with Ben Feldman, favorite of the JMP, who is hated by most comics because he’s not only incredibly wealthy, but has been voted (by himself and Candy) as the Bay Area’s funniest comic. Ben created the monthly comedy show Ben Feldman’s Laugh Orgy, which happens the second Wednesday of every month at San Francisco’s Grant & Green Saloon.

Amir Malekpour produces Subterranean Comedy at the Dark Room in the Mission and he is nice.
