The John Miller Program with Susan Maletta, June 12

It's summertime and you know what that means... Yep... hot dogs, hot tacos, and banana hammocks! Everywhere! You know what else it means? Sizzling hot times and icy, cold Coors on the John Miller Program with Susan Maletta.

On the show tonight...

Phil Perrier is a hilarious national touring stand-up comedian and writer for the Jay Leno show. He started with All Comedy Radio in the spring of 2003 and was syndicated on 37+ stations in the United States, 23+ stations in Canada, and one station in South Africa. He is best known for the Hollywood Report "Limited Access", Recurring Sketches: "Interview with a Dead Guy", "Celebrity Sodium Pentothal", "Wisdom of the Ages, with Ceepak Okra", and "Oblivious Witness to History". In 1990, Phil started writing jokes for Jay Leno & "The Tonight Show" and still to this day writes for Jay.

In 1999, Phil started writing for his first Nationally Syndicated radio show "Bob and Tom's Big Show”. In 2001, he began writing for Martin Short and "The Martin Short Show". Ten years after he started writing for Jay Leno, Phil Perrier also started writing for David Letterman & "The Late Show". Phil still writes for both shows. Phil has also been a columnist for many newspapers including the L.A. Daily News, Washington Times, San Francisco Examiner, Baltimore Sun, Philadelphia Inquirer, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Birmingham News, JewishWorldReview.com and, last but not least, he was a Staff Writer for the Athens (Ga.) Observer from 1993-2000.

With his adorable dimpled smile, Julian Vance lights up any room he walks into. (Oh wait--that's a joint.) Seriously though. This kid has maaaad dimples. Oh, and he's also a comedian. He's a naughty comedian but with those dimples, well, he gets away with just about anything. Even his abortion jokes make the girls giggle and swoon. Julian could pretty much go on stage and slit the MC's throat and everyone would laugh and love him because he's just so gosh darn cute! Yes, and he's also funny.

Julian started doing comedy at a young, tender age and he is still of a young, tender age and he's young, tender meat but his jokes are anything but tender. OK?? Julian's the type of guy you could introduce to your parents. He's also the type of guy who would try to have sex with you at your parents' house, and in your parents' bed. With your parents listening. He's mischievous. I can tell. Don't let those dimples fool you! He's trouble!!! Julian is a regular at the San Francisco Punchline as well as the Sacramento Punchline and all the best clubs all over the Bay Area. He's not above doing the open mics either, as Julian works hard at his craft and gets on stage wherever and whenever possible because he loves the stand-up comedy. Make sure to catch Julian at the San Francisco Punchline from June 22 - 26. But don't be a sucker! Don't let those dimples fool you!!!

Kristee Ono lives for fun, grabbing the mic to awkwardly over-share every element of her life. She plays around the City and can be spotted at Club Deluxe, the Purple Onion, and the Dark Room. Kristee is also host to "The Ladies Room" show, which is the only all-ladies open mic, every Wednesday night at the Brainwash Cafe in San Francisco.

Katie Compa is a fast-talking East Coaster from Washington, D.C., a great place to learn to be a cynic. Growing up an ugly duckling and a nerd, Katie developed a biting sense of humor as a highly effective defense mechanism to survive her day job. Now, she uses it to write and perform comedy. Katie is a member of the 5 Funny Females tour, was a finalist in the 2007 Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition, and a Semi-Finalist in the 2009 California's Funniest Female Competition. She performs regularly on both coasts.

Jason Myung Roger's sense of humor is rooted in his unique childhood. Although he was born in Seoul, Korea, at the age of five months, Jason was adopted by hippie parents and raised in, New Boston, New Hampshire. As the only Korean growing up, he developed a distinctive perspective on life which he conveys through comedy. His stories, characters, and antics all stem from his unusual upbringing. Through his company, Standup Guy Productions, Jason produces comedy and concert events. Currently, he has a monthly comedy show at the San Jose Improv called The Comedy Crashers and is producing a concert September 11, 2009 with NE-Yo and Day 26. He has performed in some of the country's premier comedy clubs ranging from NYC's Gotham, LA's The Comedy Store, Boston's The Comedy Studio, San Francisco's The Clubhouse and Cobbs, and The Improv.

Now pack up your cooler, strap on your banana hammock, and get down here for some rambunctious and wacky good times! Comedians are always welcome in our studio audience, so head over to 350 5th St. in San Francisco by 8 pm and join the party.
