This Saturday is an incredible show with an awesome line-up of insanely talented (and in some cases, insane) comedians. (Yeah we know. What's new?)
Our combination of celebrity guests, local outstanding performers, mystery guests, and NO CONTENT RESTRICTIONS make the John Miller Program with Susan Maletta the most deliciously fun comedy talk radio show to be on in the whole fuckin' world. Get it? Wonderful.
Damon Williams is a Chicago-based comedian who has made numerous television appearances such as BET's Comic View (annually since '94) including his own one hour special. He's been featured on BET LIVE and most recently hosted several episodes of the legendary Showtime at the Apollo, formerly hosted by TV star Steve Harvey. In 1999 Damon performed for over 300,000 fans as the opening act for the highly successful Kings of Comedy Tour establishing him as one of the elite Comics in the nation. Damon was chosen to attend The Us Comedy Arts festival in Aspen (Feb 2000).
In the summer of 2000, Damon headlined the Cedric the Entertainer Comedy Revue. Damon is a crowd favorite on the club and concert circuit and is currently on the Black Comedy Tour consisting of over 30 colleges and universities. His material is universal and there's something for all ages. His popularity has provided him the opportunity to work with some of the biggest stars in the business. Some of these stars include Aretha Franklin, Pattie Labelle, Luther Vandross, Ray Charles, Harry Belafonte, Chris Rock and even Little Richard.
The monthly comedy shows he produced for the past two years at the House of Blues came about after one appearance on the Jenny Jones Show. He was contracted to write, perform, and produce over 50 episodes. His starring role in the hit musical comedy tour "Laughin' on the Outside Cryin' on the Inside" generated standing ovations every performance. And finally, Damon maintains his weekly comedy showcase at B'n'J's in Matteson IL and often opens for the hit sketch comedy team "Forgotten City" at Second City a star on the rise his motto is "Don't Stop and Don't Quit." We are definately excited to have Damon Williams on our show!
Next up on the JMP, we welcome back one of our favorite regulars, Rob Brackenridge!
Always the class clown (and spending most of his formative years in the principal's office), Rob Brackenridge was destined to become a comedian. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Rob has been based out of Los Angeles since 1992 and spends most of the year on the road, "bringing the funny" to audiences around the world. He tours regularly for the U.S. troops on the Miller Lite "Lite Laffs" program, and his television credits include Comedy Central's "Make Me Laugh" and "Stand-Up, Stand-Up". He is a favorite at the Improv, the Comedy Store, and Catch a Rising Star.
Next we welcome back another one of our favorite regulars on the show, Kurt Weitzmann!
Kurt Weitzmann has been performing comedy for over 15 years and his act has been seen on Comedy Central, MTV, and on the stages of every San Francisco comedy club ever to come or go. Kurt Weitzmann created, edited, and produced the ingenious "SF Weakly", a highly celebrated parody of the SF Weekly, for which he was labeled a comic genius by non other than The SF Weekly. Kurt Weitzmanns comedy sketch album TALENTED is now available on AMERICAN DREAMS RECORDS. Kurt is also the producer of the new hit film "Last Call" and co-creator of the very popular and funny "Jesus Roast" and "Hitler Roast". Kurt is also a regular performer at the SF Punchline.
Next we have MYSTERY GUESTS! Listen in and hear who will be stopping by to tickle your funny boners.
And last but not least, we bring to you the hilarious Daryus Monday and Trakk Roberts!

Daryus Monday is funny on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If I wore you out by listing all the days of the week to express how funny he is, you will really be worn out from all the laughter you will have after listening to him on our show. I last saw Daryus Monday at the roast of Tony Sparks, and I hadn't laughed that hard in months. We are more than stoked to have Daryus on the JMP.
Trakk Roberts, AKA "Trak the Entertainer," is a new breed of artist who's going to take the entertainment world by storm. He's a 33-year old stand-up comedian, producer, singer-song writer, rapper, and political poet. Trak Roberts is the new version of today's "urban rennaisance man", blessed with a multitude of talents and the god-given ability to demonstrate proficiency in all of his crafts. Trak's got all the tools he needs in his entertainment arsenal to become one of the next great multi-media stars! Trak has featured in two comedy DVDs that were filmed this year, and had the honor of opening for the "King of Venice Beach" Michael Colyar, a 23-year veteran of the comedy circuit. Look out world..."The era that is Trak is among you!"
Now fasten your seat belts and fondle your airbags because this is going to be a joy ride to remember, complete with raucous comedy talk radio and possibly some drunk drivers behind the wheel.
