The John Miller Program with Candy Churilla (8/26)

Our first guest is Eric Schwartz, aka Smooth-E. He's the guy in your office with a secret life as a superstar.

It’s hard to hide such a rare talent, as Schwartz‘s popularity is quickly rising. “Circulating the net faster than the Paris Hilton video” (Jerusalem Post), Smooth-E personifies the fresh-blended creation he is named for. Mixing comedy, music, and viral Internet videos, millions of fans worldwide have begun to "surrender to the blender." Eric has quickly become the most-watched comedian on Myspace.com with over a million views each month.

Defying the boundaries of traditional stand-up, his multimedia appeal has the power to make national headlines. When a story happens in Hollywood, Smooth-E has gained the reputation of delivering hilarious songs and videos seen on by CNN, Fox, "The Tonight Show," E! and more.

Eric's spectacular, character-and-music-driven live show has gained him appearances on "Comics Unleashed," (NBC) “White Boyz in the Hood” (Showtime), BET's "Comic View," “Midnight Money Madness” (TBS), “Trapped in TV Guide (TV Guide Channel), "Latino Laugh Festival" (SiTV), and "Loco Comedy Jam" (Mun2). His voice is heard as DJ on the Wayans Brothers’ new animated show, ”Thugaboo,” and each week as the narrator of the MGM-distributed series, "Animal Atlas."

Next we'll talk with Larry Thomas, best known for his Emmy-nominated role as the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld. Thomas has appeared in a number of films, TV shows, and commercials, and appears at autograph-signing shows across the country. He has appeared in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Scrubs, Arrested Development as a Saddam Hussein lookalike. In 2006, Thomas began selling autographed photographs of himself through catalogs such as Wall Street Creations Inc., glaring at the camera in chef's garb, with the handwritten notation "No soup for you!"

John and Candy met Larry at the premiere of Uwe Boll's film Postal, in which Thomas played Osama bin Laden.

Next we'll talk with Bay Area comics Jane Haze and John Brown.
