The John Miller Program with Susan Maletta, Nov. 28

Tryptophan, carbs, and alcohol, oh my! Welcome to your post-Thanksgiving hangover. Bloated much? Did ya gobble? Ok then, why not stay home in the comfort your own home tonight. Yeah! Fuck it! Be gluttonous, care-free, and relaxed! Save your money. We bring the laughs to you, all you need is a radio or the Internet.

Tonight on the John Miller Program with Susan Maletta...

Kurt Weitzmann has been performing comedy for over 15 years and his act has been seen on Comedy Central, MTV, and on the stages of every San Francisco comedy club ever to come or go. Kurt Weitzmann created, edited, and produced the ingenious "SF Weakly", a highly celebrated parody of the SF Weekly, for which he was labeled a comic genius by non other than The SF Weekly. Kurt Weitzmanns comedy sketch album TALENTED is now available on AMERICAN DREAMS RECORDS. Kurt is also the producer of the new hit film "Last Call" and co-creator of the very popular and funny "Jesus Roast" and "Hitler Roast". Kurt is also a regular performer at the SF Punchline.

From the very moment Howard Stone enters the stage, hooting and hollering, you know you're in for a special treat. As a single dad with a gruff exterior but a heart of pure gold, Stone spouts alternative family values with edge and irony. He proudly extols the importance of ether as a viable tool for child rearing while launching effortlessly into tirades about pop culture, commercialism and the absurdities of life. Howard has featured in the “Jesus Roast” and “Hitler Roast”, and “The Uncle Howard Show” and performs all over the bay area.

Chris Thayer lives in San Francisco. One of the unlikeliest assassins of the new wave of SF comedians, Chris has performed at The Purple Onion, Club Deluxe, and Hemlock Tavern opening for the likes of Reggie Watts and Rick Shapiro.

Dr. Brian King is a comedian who also is a psychologist specializing in Human Sexuality, which always makes for some hilarious and sizzling conversation! Dr Brian has led many research projects, written papers, and presented at national conferences regarding his research on s-e-x. Hell, they even let him teach college a few times. He is not a therapist or counselor, but he is an opinionated smart-ass with regular access to a computer. He is also a fan of hip-hop, vodka martinis, and girls that wear skirts in the winter. Oh, and comedy. Dr Brian likes to think he's a comedian. Dr. Brian also produces the wildly popular Wharf Room Comedy Stand-Up Showcase at Castagnola's in San Francisco.

Burtis Cutler (A.K.A. "The World's Shortest Redneck") has stocked up his trailer and packed up his cooler with dozens of punchlines and dozens more fishing lines. He's so funny he makes us spit foamy Coors out of our noses! Wonderfully delightful and down-to-earth, expect a lot of laughs from Burtis Cutler as he shares with us many hilarious tales from life in the south.

Now go make yourself another sandwich (but reserve the pickle for me!). Then tune in!

The John Miller Program with Susan Maletta, Nov. 21

Hello My Hot Little Butterballs,

It's about that time folks. Time to Gobble, Gobble, Gobble up the John Miller Program with Susan Maletta! Are you ready for your Stuffing? Because we are more than ready to give it to you. We are also ready to reach in and play with your giblets. Yep, this week is Thanksgiving week and we have one terrific spread for you, lemme tell ya. We have comedians, Coors, Cool Whip...a full feast of fantastic funny freaks ready to FIESTA!!!

First up, how 'bout some juicy white breast meat?

We have a favorite of the JMP, Kira Soltanovich. Born in the former Soviet Union, and raised by immigrant parents in San Francisco, Kira Soltanovich has plenty to laugh about. "Like most kids, my parents took me to Disneyland …not for the rides, for the lines. They assumed there’d be food at the end of them." Kira was a series regular for four seasons on Girls Behaving Badly, and has also appeared on such shows as Jimmy Kimmel Live, 3rd Rock From The Sun, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. (Kira will be headlining the Purple Onion in San Francisco on December 5th!)

Next up, MORE tasty white breast meat ...with a side of spaghetti!

Cheril Vendetti is a seasoned and much sought after comedienne on America’s comedy circuit, where her bookings keep her on the road for most of the year. When in Los Angeles, she is a regular at the world famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, and recently appeared in the “The Main Room,” a documentary about the club. She received a Clio award for playing an Italian cook in a Foster Farm commercial, and has appeared on HBO’s Real Sex (thankfully, fully clothed). It was on stage at NATPE where talent agent David Tenzer of CAA began to represent Miss Vendetti and her cooking show “I Got Your Recipes..Right Here!!” It was also on that stage where she got to create two TV pilots “The Queen of New Jersey” and “Queen of the Road.” Miss Vendetti has just completed a comical cookbook, “Mistress of the Mob Cuisine.”

Next..no meal would be complete without a side dish of Corny...

Steve Ferris started doing comedy in 2004 and has been doing it consistently since. Before that he did it for a little while and then stopped for a year. Before that he did it one time in a high school talent contest, which resulted in him being suspended for three days. Really though, he kind of feels like he's always been a comedian, and his whole life is like his act. Steve Ferris has many talents, but comedy is probably his favorite. The reason for this is because you can see it in everything that he does. His style is the result of a dissatisfaction with convention and a strong interest in innovation. The approach is less physical, less intellectual, and more emotional and dramatic. This means comedy that you feel from the inside. Steve features regularly at the San Francisco Punchline and his genres include puns, observational, innuendo, dick, anti-humor, one-liners, and shock.

Now who's in the mood for a little dark meat on their plates? :) We are!!

We're serving up some delicious, juicy portions of Tony Sparks and Kaseem Bentley! Kaseem is the Bay Area's number one insult comic and Tony Sparks, known to all in the SF area as the Father of SF Comedy, is one of the nicest and funniest comedians you can meet. He's also one of the best comedy hosts you could be entertained by. Wonderfully supportive to comics of all levels (newbies to veterans), he helps make stage time available to anyone who wants it. Tony Sparks is a class act when it comes to professionalism, supporting the comedy community, and bringing non-stop laughs and fun to us all. He hosts a hugely popular open mic in the SF bay area, the famed Brain Wash CafĂ© in San Francisco. This is where NO ONE gets turned down for stage time. Tony enlists the entire audience, every week, to welcome every new comedian with “A Lot of Love!!!” What? "A LOT OF LOVE!!!!!!" Tony Sparks can also be found performing comedy and hosting shows all over the place, and he produces, promotes, and/or hosts several shows including Speech Therapy Comedy at Il Pirata, All-Star Comedy and More at The SF Playhouse, Street Legal Comedy at Pissed Off Pete's, and Raw Comedy Night at Poleng Lounge.

And finally... DESSERT has arrived! He's sweet, he's funny, and often quite creamy...Butch Escobar is on the plate!

Butch Escobar hosts a kick-ass monthly showcase at the San Jose Improv on the 4th Wednesday of every month called “Butch Escobar’s Unfiltered Underground.” Butch also has hosted and featured in Big Al’s Big Ass Comedy Show, another great show you can catch at the Improv. You can see Butch perform at other great venues around the South Bay and it’s a guarantee that any of the shows he’s involved in is going to be a great time. Butch is great—he tells it like it is and does not censor himself by any means. And, it’s a well known fact, we’re all about not censoring yourself on the JMP. We can’t wait to talk about anything and everything with him!

Now unbuckle your pants, Pilgrims. And Tune in!

The John Miller Program with Susan Maletta, Nov. 7

First and foreskin, we'd like to thank all the fiercely funny comedians who came and did our last show, namely Steve Booth and all of our faithful regulars Kurt Weitzmann, Dr. Brian King, Michael Hyde, Drew Pult, and Kevin Munroe. It was record breaking as one of our most vulgar shows we've had to date, but we also had record-breaking fun and laughs, so what're ya gonna do? Yes that's right, you're gonna catch the madness, vulgarity, and hilarity one more time by clicking "Last Show" on www.fccfree.com. DO IT!!!

And now for this week's line-up of superstars, planets, and possibly Uranus...

Mike Siegel is a professional stand-up comedian, host and actor. He can be seen nationally every week hosting TBS network's "TBS Movie EXTRA ", HGTV's "If Walls Could Talk ", and Fine Living networks' " What You Get For the Money" (which also airs on HGTV). He has also hosted the Game Show Network's "GSN Live". But his television appearances hardly stop there. He began his TV career as a VH-1 on-air personality, and followed up as host of the NBC hidden-camera special, "Payback ". Mike has performed stand-up comedy on numerous television shows, including "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn " (CBS), "Late Friday" (NBC), "Comedy Showcase with Louie Anderson" (NBC), "Stand-up, Stand-up" (Comedy Central), and "Friday Night" (NBC).

Mike has also been a repeat panelist on the hit late-night talk show on E!, "Chelsea Lately". Mike's also been seen on the small screen as an actor. He was a recurring guest star on the CBS drama "JAG" , and had supporting roles in such shows as "24" (FOX), "Prison Break" (FOX), "Less Than Perfect" (ABC), "Eve" (UPN), "Strong Medicine " (Lifetime), "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" (FOX), and " Sabrina" (WB). Mike made his transition to movies with a bang by landing a role in the highly acclaimed Steven Soderbergh drama Traffic , starring Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. He had a scene-stealing supporting role in the independent feature The Godfather of Green Bay, starring Lauren Holly, and another in Freeloaders, directed by Dan Rosen. Mike also played a lead in Inside Out, a short film directed by L. Zane.

Ronn Vigh, so-sexy-it’s-difficult-to-not-jump-his-bones-while-he’s-on-stage, brings his unique brand of comedy to clubs, colleges, and airport lavatories all over the world. His brash attitude and acerbic wit have earned him a comparison to a young Joan Rivers by SF Weekly. Well, if she were male, gay, and didn’t shoot Botox by the pound. He was featured on NBC’s Last Comic Standing II and in 2005 founded and still co-produces the successful “Harvey’s Funny Tuesday’s” weekly comedy show at Harvey’s in the Castro District of San Francisco. No stranger to the comedy and alternative scene, he recently hosted Palm Springs Pride, headlined the Lake Tahoe Gay & Lesbian WinterFest, 10th Annual Michigan ComedyFest, and the list goes on and on and on--much like when Ronn speaks.

His one man show, 98 Pounds of Fury, enjoyed a successful run, appeared in the Off-Broadway smash hit 10 Naked Men, recently hosted coverage for the SF GLBT Pride Parade and gained much attention for a controversial off-the-cuff comment about bisexuals. He’s played Joan Rivers at Comedy Noir’s Jesus Roast, a gay Elvis Presley in a Vegas.com commercial, and a science geek in a Magrack ad displayed in NYC subways. Needless to say, he’s versatile (in many ways). He’s been heard on the radio waves and a frequent contributor to shows such as "Fernando & Greg" on Energy 92.7FM, Shake Radio on 960 AM, The Quake and Live 105’s KGAY Weekend in San Francisco. He currently reports, and was featured in, the New York Times for his "Weekly Show" on Vidsf.com. His biggest accomplishment to date: working as a flight attendant and he never smothers any of his passengers with a pillow.

Trevor Hill is also coming to the JMP! After years of joking around with his friends, literally none of them insisted that Trevor bring his talents to the stage. And on a dare, he ended up winning that contest! And the rest is history. Trevor got his start at the world-renowned and internationally respected Mike T. Benatar's Zanie Chuckle Station in Hermosa Beach, CA. This is where he met and shared the stage with such comedy legends as Tito the Entertainer and Jeffy "The Banana Man" Silverstein. After only 2 hours and 45 minutes in the comedy game, Trevor has performed in clubs in SF, LA, NY, H, and also D. He has also performed his family-friendly stylings at all the colleges on earth. His hard hitting comedy touches on such controversial topics as incest, genocide, and Sandra Bullock movies. Trevor is also the co-creator and host of the award-winning comedic game show, "Hey, What's in this Can?" In 2009, he was a semi-quarter finalist in a Comedy Competition. And the rest is history...

Trak Roberts, AKA "Trak the Entertainer," is a new breed of artist who's going to take the entertainment world by storm. He's a 33-year old stand-up comedian, producer, singer-song writer, rapper, and political poet. Trak Roberts is the new version of today's "urban rennaisance man", blessed with a multitude of talents and the god-given ability to demonstrate proficiency in all of his crafts. Trak's got all the tools he needs in his entertainment arsenal to become one of the next great multi-media stars! Trak has featured in two comedy DVDs that were filmed this year, and had the honor of opening for the "King of Venice Beach" Michael Colyar, a 23-year veteran of the comedy circuit. Look out world..."The era that is Trak is among you!"

Cody Woods is a comedian that does comedy sometimes. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is being black balled in the comedy industry. If you would like to see Cody perform, just find him on Facebook at: facebook.com/i.have.balls.of.gold so you can find a gig near you that he will not be getting booked at. His material is performed mainly in a topical and intimate style and is pretty edgy. Cody Woods also runs a shithole comedy venue on Stanford campus called the "750 Pub", where comics have the privilege of being enjoyed by people who will be making up to $450,000 within the next two years and happen to be the same type of people that comics often gawked at in high school. Cody Woods is also very articulate and his vocabulary is often filled with prestigious words like "gawk" and "high school". Cody Woods is part Irish and once had a dog.

Now turn off all the lights. Prop up a telescope by the window so you can get ready for some local and national comedy celebrity star gazing. If you don't have a telescope, then by golly, get your binoculars out, you naughty little perverts..and don't forget to turn on the radio...

Then tune in!
